Trailer Restacking in Dallas-Fort Worth for Shifted or Rejected Loads

The receiver opened the trailer and said no. The pallets are leaning. Boxes are on the floor. The wrap broke. The driver cannot make the delivery until the load is put back together.

That is a hard call for the driver and the broker. Send us photos before moving the truck. Dallas Cross Docking reviews trailer restacking jobs at 2120 Hutton Drive, Suite 300, Carrollton, Texas 75006.

What Trailer Restacking Means

Trailer restacking means fixing freight that shifted inside the trailer. The job may include unloading affected freight, rebuilding pallets, stacking boxes again, replacing stretch wrap and loading the freight back into the trailer.

Common Problems We Can Review

We Understand the Driver and the Broker

A rejected load can turn into missed hours, another appointment and more calls. The driver may be far from home. The broker may be trying to calm the customer while also finding a solution.

We are all about the trucker, and we understand the broker carrying the pressure of the whole load. Send the photos, pallet count, trailer type and ETA. We will review the job before the truck moves.

How Trailer Restacking Works

  1. Send clear photos of the shifted load.
  2. Send the freight type, pallet count, trailer type and truck location.
  3. Tell us why the receiver rejected the load, if it was rejected.
  4. Tell us when the truck can arrive and when the load needs to be ready.
  5. We review the job before you send the driver.
  6. If confirmed, bring the trailer to our Carrollton warehouse.
  7. We unload the affected freight as needed, rebuild the load and prepare it for reloading.

Need to Hold the Freight After Restacking?

If the recovery truck or new appointment is not ready, approved palletized freight may be stored for up to 72 hours. That gives the broker a short window to fix the next step.
